  • Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley)

    Jigokudani (lit. Hell Valley), the origin of Noboribetsu's "demon" symbol, is a volcanic crater created by an eruption 10,000 years ago. Stroll along the well-maintained trails to see a variety of hot springs, including some that change color depending on the water flow.

  • Lake Oyunuma

    A roughly one kilometer-wide spring late formed from a phreatic explosion at Mount Hiyori. Sulfur springs at the bottom gush out at 132 °C. The Oyunuma walking trail includes a popular spot for a natural footbath.
    *Some areas may be closed in winter due to snow.

  • Oyunuma River Natural Footbath

    Enjoy a natural footbath with hot spring water flowing from Oyunuma. Relax amidst the natural forest and soothe your feet after walking.

  • Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe

    A Nordic-inspired aquarium with Nixe Castle as its centerpiece. Popular with kids, it features a touch pool, dolphin and sea lion shows, and the charming penguin parade. Don't miss the mesmerizing underwater world in the main Aqua Tunnel!

  • Noboribetsu Bear Park

    This bear park boasts the largest number of bears in Japan. The talented bears will cheerfully greet visitors with entertaining tricks. For just 100 yen, buy them little treats and enjoy their even more adorable reactions! ♪ The ropeway views and the breathtaking scenery from the observation deck at the museum are also a part of the facility's charm!
    Located in the rich natural environment of Shikotsu-Toya National Park, you can also spot many wild birds and animals.

  • Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura

    The only place where to meet "Nyanmage," the adorable cat character with a traditional topknot hairstyle, is at Jidaimura! Enjoy thrilling ninja shows, mysterious and fun mazes, women in classic oiran (courtesan) wear, and entertaining puppet shows, offering a variety of attractions. Experience the feeling of stepping back in time to the Edo period.
